It hasn't started to snow yet here in Utah but does that mean you can't make snowflakes? Absolutely not! My husband and I are pretty big geeks and we never do things the "normal" way.
The reason this is on the Projects for Adult page is that these snowflakes take a lot of patience AND a very sharp exacto knife. What is did was take the templates that you can find here. This is by no means extensive and I highly recommend you visit the artist Anthony Herrera for other designs like Frozen, Guardians of the Galaxy, Harry Potter and other Star Wars designs that I haven't done yet.
I had them copied onto 11 x 17 paper, you end up with 11 x 11 circles so that the details aren't crazy small once your snowflakes are cut. These are time intensive and if you are a perfectionist like me it will take you awhile. I also used a glass cutting board that I borrowed from my husband because otherwise you are going to cut into whatever surface you are using.
I want these to last so I may try to laminate them but I am a little worried that they will wrinkle during the process. I'll let you know how that goes.
